Synopsis
As the Vatican's special envoy, Father Mac came to Malmö - a catholic bishop with a cloak and a stick. In a short time he conquered the city, entertained generously, and made many friends. In one year, Father Mac won the confidence of everyone; he conducted weddings and started to invest his new found friends' money. But when the people of Malmö were supposed to get their loans back with sky high interest, his apartment was found abandoned. Father Mac was perhaps one of the biggest imposters of modern time, and was hunted by Interpol for fraud around the entire globe. It is said that he died just after the legal proceedings were filed against him in his native country Hungary, but many we speak with refuse to believe he is dead. " I am 100% sure that I saw him in Möllevångstorget last year", says Tony, one of the deceived. What is real and what is deception? The film takes us to different continents following his capers and ending at his grave. Some would like to open the grave and to see if he actually lies there. Would you?
