Synopsis
Kate, a nightclub queen, pretends to be a rural social worker when she receives two wards from the United States. The children's grandfather sends his son, Wilbur Spurgeon, to London to bring the children back. Wilbur discovers Kate's true occupation, and takes her to court in an attempt to have her ruled unfit as a guardian. When a local magistrate's wife enters the proceedings to reveal that Kate once saved her children from a misadventure in London, Kate wins not only the children but Wilbur. The two are married and have their wedding reception at the nightclub.
