Notes

The working title of this unviewed film was Minus One. According to copyright records, the title of Gabriel Gyorffy's original story was "Love Is Like a Flower." Love Minus One marked the only film for Hungarian-born director Gyorffy and star Jill Janssen, sister of actor David Janssen. Jill and David's mother Bernice also appeared in the film, which marked the only project of production company Iota Productions, despite a March 1971 Hollywood Reporter article reporting that Iota president Kelly Ross was planning four more films.
Ross stated in a November 1971 Hollywood Reporter article that funding for Love Minus One came exclusively from associates in her home state of Louisiana. An October 1971 Daily Variety article quoted the film's budget at under $1 million. According to the press materials, location scenes were shot along the coast from Los Angeles to Mexico. An Hollywood Reporter news item adds Bob Snider to the cast, and modern sources add the following actors: Nick Ariondo, Bill Bagwell, Pam Beth, Tom Blackwell, Devon Blaine, Sheila Condit, Larry Czipowski, Yolon Danam, Karen Davis, Kevin Davis, Suzanne Diaj, Jim Falen, Sharon Federman, John Gean, Sheryl Hasbrouck, George Heidleberg, Jack Hyatt, Jesse James, Josephine Jaramillo, Linda Jaramillo, Lynn Jennings, James Kent, Denes Kuhl, Misha Markarian, Edythe Mayo, Debbie McDonald, Dorthy Miniskey, Richard Morton, Lenard Rawn, Susan Sarkis, Dan Smith and Betty Spillman.
