The picture is a parody of a late-night talk show, starring Don Forio as the host, "Irv Carlson." Although no contemporary reviews or news items were found on the film, internal evidence in the viewed print, including a sketch entitled "Alice's Restroom" parodying the 1969 film Alice's Restaurant, suggests that the film May have been produced in 1971. The guests on the show are comedic portraits of stereotypical celebrities or actual people, including, for instance, the character "Morrison Whales," who acts and appears like actor-director Orson Welles.
