Synopsis
A young captain recently discharged from the army arrives in Moscow in search of a better life. All his attempts to earn board and lodging in an honest way end in a failure. Besides he gets into a debt and owes a large sum to his friend from the military college who had long abandoned the army and works as a successful striptease dancer at one of the Moscow clubs.
