Synopsis
As children Jakob and Lorenz have been inseparable. Jakob, the older and more mature brother, often had to take care of the younger and mischievously playful Lorenz; he had to stand up for him and protect him. Years later, after their ways had parted, fate brings them back together again. When their mother becomes ill and needs the help of her sons, Lorenz, like in olden days, wants Jakob to be the caretaker and sets out to look for him. He finds Jakob working in a fish restaurant in the Northern Germany, far away from home. The journey back to their home town turns out to be not just full of adventures and obstacles--but also a journey into the past.
