Synopsis
After the sudden death of their mother, teenage twins Rachel and Theo travel to Auckland to live with their aunt and uncle. Rachel finds her close relationship with Theo challenged, as she tries to reach out to her distraught brother but he refuses to face his grief. To divert their attention, they take notice of their new surroundings and the unsettling behavior of their neighbors. After investigating the creepy house, the two find what can only be described as an alien environment, and they overhear odd whisperings of "the fire-raiser." Certain that it will spell trouble for them both, Rachel retreats but Theo decides to set out alone to find this mythic creature.
