Synopsis
Golda Meir, Israel's first female Prime Minister, served during the Yom Kippur War when Egyptian troops stormed across the Suez Canal and overwhelmed the surprised Israeli troops. Golda's superhuman efforts to avoid disaster included struggling with Israeli generals, such as Moshe Dayan, and persuading Henry Kissinger to have Richard Nixon send help to Israel. If she did not succeed it would have meant the end of the nation.
