Synopsis
Lena grew up in a small Russian town and then moved to Moscow to search for her happiness. She returns home now because a war has broken out and her grandparents still live there. Bombs explode throughout the night and people are being killed on every street corner. No one can escape the violence. Shortly after Lena arrives, she finds herself trapped. There are no more trains and no communication with the mainland. But Lena soon discovers that running away does not necessarily mean saving oneself. Her destiny is to find a place of her own amidst her war torn village and her brief visit becomes a permanent move.
