Synopsis
When not watching the weekly costumed wrestling matches in Quebec's local league, intense, belligerent, disaffected 12-year-old Jessy spends his time hanging out in Montreal's rail yards. It beats staying at home, where he and his siblings must compete for the attentions of his father and heroin-addicted mother. Jessy finds a questionable sense of security in his friendship with Jacques, a low-life and a freethinker who lives a bit like a hobo in a nearby park. Things get rough for Jessy when his brother Sam forces him to act as a drug runner. But Jessy is a fighter. Naturally there must be losers in life so that there can be winners. But, just like in wrestling, it is sometimes possible to escape your destiny.
