Synopsis
Twenty-eight-year-old Veronika lives in Manhattan, working as an administrative assistant by day, dating at night and living a small studio apartment. Bored with her life, Veronika decides to end it with a handful of pills, but her attempt fails and she wakes up in a psychiatric hospital. Her disappointment at having survived suicide is enormous and she dreads a life filled with monotony.until she learns that her failed suicide attempt has left her with irreparable heart damage, and that she has a week to live. Based on the novel "Veronika Decides to Die."
