Synopsis
This story is told from the point of view of a mother Giraffe, who herself hides a painful memory only to be revealed towards the end.The young fawns are at the very start of their big adventure and they grow up learning about the threats that challenge all the creatures of the bush; cheetahs, jackals and hyena's. Along their travels they face fires and starvation. Over time, our Grant learns the ways and wiles of becoming a mature male gazelle; a handsome, fit creature, horns aloft in a gesture of defiance against the fates of the grassland. Meanwhile Mother Giraffe takes care of a happy ending.
