Synopsis
The story of the war crimes trial of Lieutenant General Tasuku Okada, who without the required military tribunal, executed 38 American POWs for carpet bombing the city of Nagoya during World War II. During the trial, the film delves deep into Okadas reasoning for the bombing and his subsequent efforts to protect his men from certain execution earning the respect of the entire courtroom--especially his defense attorney Joseph Featherstone.
