Synopsis
Tsuyako turns the rooftop of her shabby love hotel into a park and opens it up to the public. It gives a glimmer of hope to the lonely women of various ages who rent rooms there. They include 13-year-old Mika, who has no place to go after seeing her father with a new family; Tsuki, a housewife whose relationship with her husband has turned cold; and Marika, who always comes to the love hotel with a different man. These three women each receive silent encouragement from Tsuyako; she herself experiences these encounters as very gratifying. Through their support of eachother, these women regain the strength to face life.
