Synopsis
Teacher and radio host Rasha lives with his alcoholic father. He is also carrying on an affair with one of his students. Ivan, his neighbor, struggled with a history of psychotic breakdowns and cults, until he was baptized. Doole is a wannabe yuppie that's not doing a very good job of it. The group has the monotony of their Serbian small town lives broken up when Igor returns to town from Huddersfield after a lengthy absence. The acquaintances reunite one evening, and what begins as a pleasant get-together devolves into a painful, emotional examination of their own failures, hopes and lives. The end of the 20th century was one that left an indelible mark on Eastern Europe and an entire generation, which begs the question: Is this a generation that's able to move forward?
