Synopsis
Barney Cornell, a State Department employee in Washington, D. C., has been accused by a Congressional committee of turning top secret material over to a Bulgarian family that saved his life during World War II. With the aid of his superior, Paul Evarts, and a former sweetheart, Laura, he goes about trying to prove his innocence. During this time, he is also falsely accused of the murder of Jason Stone, a political boss. Further investigation enables him to expose Paul as the real traitor, and Cornell is returned to governmental favor.
