Synopsis
An astronaut in space pleads for death because he has become possessed by an unknown form of outer space life, and scientists explode his craft. A California student finds the astronaut's dismembered arm on a beach and takes it to his roominghouse, where it comes to life and strangles his landlady. Though the student is eventually cleared of the murder when the fingerprints on the body prove to be those of the astronaut, the forces in the arm begin to possess the student. He makes a number of murder attempts before, in a battle with the arm, he wrenches it from his throat and throws it to a pack of hunger-crazed cats who devour it.
