Synopsis
Based on the critically acclaimed 1990 book by Allan Berube, nine gay and lesbian veterans of WWII tell their stories in interviews which are combined with an array of declassified documents, photographs and archival footage.

Fimmaker Arthur Dong graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Film School at San Francisco State University in 1982. He subsequently participated in the Director's Program at the American Film Institute's Center for Advanced Film and Television Studies in 1984.
