Chris (Tad Hilgenbrink) and his sister Nicole (Autumn Reeser) move to Luna Bay expecting to start a new life with free room & board with their Aunt Jillian, but she charges them rent after all. Chris meets an old acquaintance Shane (Angus Sutherland) who invites him to a surf party that night. The siblings seek out the surf board shaper & vampire hunter Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman) to find a job. They go to Shane's party and Nicole drinks booze laced with vampire blood. Later she becomes a half-vampire and Edgar advises that the only way she can be saved is if Shane is killed. Chris and Edgar seek out the hiding place of Shane and his tribe to save Nicole.
