Synopsis
Set shortly before the outbreak of World War I and the fall of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, historical drama based on the career of Alfred Redl, an aspiring military officer of humble origins who rose through the ranks to become head of the Secret Police and commander of the Eighth Army of Prague, but was ultimately caught as a secret agent of the Russians and forced to commit suicide.
