Synopsis
El Caballero, a mysterious knight-errant--beloved by the poor, hated by the rich, and feared by the haughty--disguises himself as Taki, an Aztec servant, and rescues Lucía, a Spanish girl of noble birth, from an unhappy marriage with the son of a wealthy Californian. El Caballero, actually a Spanish don, marries Lucía and returns to Spain with her.
