Synopsis
Dare Rudd and Dinkey Hooley, saddle tramps, come to Wyoming to get a handout from Dare's banker and cattleman cousin, Tom Fillmore, and decide to stay when Dare meets Tom's beloved, Judy Worstall. Dare takes a menial job working for his cousin, turning down the more lucrative but shady job offer of casino owner Bart Hammond, leader of the rustling ring. Tom, on Judy's urging, promotes Dare to cattle boss and sends him to sell his herd, suspecting that Dare will make off with the money and expose his true nature to Judy. Dare fends off the attacks of Hammond's men and sells the herd for a good price, but Hammond cons him into a crooked poker game in which Dare begins to lose his cousin's money. Realizing that Judy loves Dare, Tom rides to town, takes Dare's place in the game, and exposes Hammond's cheating. Tom is wounded in the ensuing gunfight, but he, Dare and Dinkey manage to escape from town with Hammond and his men in hot pursuit, holing up in the rocks outside town until Tom's men arrive and rout Hammond's gang. Dare and Dinkey head off to Montana, but Judy, informed of Dare's departure by Tom, rides off and brings Dare back to marry her and become partners with Tom.

Trivia
Due to a studio clerical error, 'Ladd, Alan' was incorrectly credited for an appearance in this film, despite the fact that he does not appear in it at all.
Notes
