Synopsis
Ricardo Tattarelli has been employed for 22 years at a public utility company on its way to being privatized. Encouraged by his boss and blinded by his ambition to join the nouveau riche, Tattarelli accepts voluntary early retirement. A large sum of retirement funds are "advanced" to him through bizarrely structured financial schemes created by the government and international banking systems.
