Synopsis

Marco, a vampire, and his associates, Tanya and La Gordo, a dwarf, invade a small village where Charita, the twin sister of Marco's dying lover, Christine, lives with her foster parents. Marco plans to transfer the healthy heart of Charita into Christine's body, which is being kept alive by transfusions of Charita's blood. Charita is kept under Marco's spell, and she responds to a vampire bat who acts as his messenger. When the twins' mother, Doña Marisa, tries to intervene, she is killed by the bat. Victor, a young man, comes to the village and falls in love with Charita. With the help of a priest and the police, he leads a party of villagers, armed with burning crosses, to Marco's hideout. Marco, who is rendered harmless by the light, escapes, and stakes are driven into the hearts of the remaining vampires. Victor rescues Charita, and the village returns to its normal state.
