Synopsis

Set in contemporary Bengali, a young man from a small village named Yasin moves to Kolkata to live with the one person he knows there, Dilip. Dilip earns a living installing surveillance cameras. When a beautiful young dancer, Rekha, moves into the apartment next door, he decides to fit a spy camera, so he and Yasin can watch her. But Dilip is a man so chaste that he cannot bear the sight of Rekha's immodest image. He always shuts off the camera before he sees too much. As Yasin tries to pursue a tentative romance with Rekha, she falls into a unpleasant encounter with a film director out to exploit her. In this urban landscape, people come to possess each other through the lens of a camera.
