Synopsis
Lasya is a teenaged girl living in Ladakh with Karma, her father, and Chomo, her troubled little brother. Winter brings difficult conditions to their village, which may be the reason for Lasya's reveries. Then the army arrives. Ladakh sits in India's still-contested Jammu and Kashmir state. The military takes security seriously and they upend the village's gentle routine in their hunt for the enemy. Instead, they find a frozen body.
