Synopsis
Elderly Aniela lives alone in a rambling mansion that has seen better days. The decaying house with its overgrown garden and rusting iron gate happnes to offend the eyes of her neighbor. In fact, he would like to buy her house so he can tear it down and put up something new. Occassionaly, Aniela's son drops by for a visit but she suspects that he is trying to take away her house. Between these various visits, Aniela chats away with her only loyal companion, her dog. And, when she finds herself verging on boredom, she peeks in on the neighbors.
