Nineteen-year-old Imri, after leaving the army, moves to central Tel Aviv. There, he lives in with an eccentric roommate and finds work in a shop selling gadgets. For him and his friends, the only reason for staying in this place is to earn enough money to go to Japan. Meantime, Imri learns Japanese, goes to the movies, and has sex with men.
