Synopsis
Nineteen-year-old Imri, after leaving the army, moves to central Tel Aviv. There, he lives in with an eccentric roommate and finds work in a shop selling gadgets. For him and his friends, the only reason for staying in this place is to earn enough money to go to Japan. Meantime, Imri learns Japanese, goes to the movies, and has sex with men. One day, one of his childhood friends pays him a visit. The two of them spend a lot of time together, talking and providing moral support for one another. Imri admits he feels lost and has no idea what to do with his life. And although a war is taking place a few kilometres away from his house, Imri finds he feels himself much closer to Japan.
