Synopsis
Documents life in a psychiatric hospital: viewers watch the patients, their caretakers, the rituals involving meals and games. Yet in reality it documents that which is not visible: we do not see hallways nor gardens or windows, nor the treatments, not even the visits by relatives. It neither judges whatever it is that takes place inside the mental hospital. Filmmaker Jose Luis Torres Leiva shows audiences that sort of stillness in time, the way in which it freezes in a space with its own rules such as this one. The basic ideas were is it possible to capture this time in images? Is it translatable into images and sound?
