Synopsis

At the time of the Napoleonic invasion of Russia, the pompous Lieut. Dmitriy Rzhevskiy is affianced to Shura, niece of retired Major Azarov. Captured during a daring raid against the French, she is rescued by Dmitriy, who finally discovers her identity.
