Synopsis

Gunfighter Marty Robbins robs a stagecoach minutes before a gang led by McCord, the saloon keeper of San Angelo, was to have done so. Marty goes to San Angelo and "plants" the gold for the Padre to find. McCord cannot accuse Marty of the robbery without giving himself away, but he is provoked into action when they become rivals for Secora, a dancehall girl. On the night Marty and Secora are to depart San Angelo, they are gunned down by the gang, but Marty's last act is to kill McCord.
