Synopsis
Queen Capys of Sadok orders her army to attack a village that houses the descendents of Ulysses, whom she has vowed to destroy. Agisandro, the village governor, is killed in the battle, and several survivors are taken prisoner, but Agisandro's widow, Penelope, and their baby son are rescued by Aronio, a shepherd, and taken to the cave of Maciste. Capys, infuriated that the baby has been permitted to escape, tortures several prisoners in an unsuccessful attempt to learn the child's whereabouts but later falls in love with Maciste when he is captured trying to free the prisoners. Ifito, the queen's commander, who is jealous of Capys' attention to her prisoner, drugs Maciste into divulging the child's hiding place and attempts to sacrifice the baby to a cyclops. Capys decides to aid Maciste and sends him to the cave which houses the beast. The queen is killed rescuing Maciste, and Ifito is eaten by the cyclops, but Penelope and her son are saved.
