Synopsis

Following several brutal murders in which the victims' vital organs are ripped from their bodies, CIA Chief Holman concludes that Dr. DeMarco, the former head of the Astro Space Laboratory, has created an astro-man with a defective brain. DeMarco, who has been missing since his dismissal from the space center, has hidden himself in an old mansion on the outskirts of the city and, with a deformed assistant, has been experimenting on human bodies. The doctor's work has also aroused the interest of several foreign agents, including the exotic Satanna. When a beautiful lab technician is mutilated, Holman sets a trap for DeMarco by planting another woman in the lab as bait. The scheme works; one of the astro-zombies attacks the woman, is driven off, and then trailed to DeMarco's mansion. Satanna and her henchmen have also located the doctor through a frequency rectifier. Holman and his men quickly surround the house, trapping Satanna inside with DeMarco and the zombies. As the astro-creatures begin butchering indiscriminately, Satanna shoots DeMarco, but not before he has thrown a master switch that destroys the mansion and its occupants.
