Synopsis

Hollywood is often perceived as an impenetrable group of insiders. In this high-energy documentary, a group of four independent filmmakers journey across the United States on a mission to deliver their script to Johnny Depp. Titled Narcophonic, it is based on the life of Scott Baxendale, a musician involved in a drug rampage in the 1990s. Depp, an avid guitar player known for choosing scripts based on artistic merit, seemed a perfect choice for the lead. Without funding or connections, the group encases the script in the back of a beautiful electric guitar, handcrafted by Scott himself, and sets out on their adventure.
