Synopsis
A widower decides to marry again, with the approval of both his own son and his future stepson. The latter falls in love with a girl whose parents wanted to find a home for her by selling her to foreigners. The trade in young women is uncovered thanks to the stepson's intervention. In the meantime, the widower's son's family is in a crisis, because he has too much work and is too often away from home.
