Brief Synopsis

A Javanese opera inspired by an episode in the Sanskrit epic Ramayana. Here, village potters Setio and Siti are happily married until Setio starts to doubt his wife's fidelity and stops sleeping with her, all but driving her into the lustful arms of the macho butcher Ludiro.
