1980. North Korean Agent Byung-ho defects to the South, where he is eventually accepted and assigned to South Korea's National Security Agency. But in fact, Byung-ho never really defected at all. He remains a North Korean spy sent to infiltrate the South's government. With his mission accomplished, Byung-ho's life begins to unravel. He is torn between his two employers, both of whom begin to regard him with suspicion, leaving him stranded with only the beautiful "sleeper agent" Su-mee as his sole ally.
