Synopsis

A collection of character-based vignettes bound together by the hit-and-run death of a child in a suburban village. The story starts at the moment when a wealthy divorcee discovers the child's body then the body vanishes mysteriously. The collection of local characters seem to questionable in terms of what they know and what they witnessed. The connections between them, close-knit yet heavy with big-city influences, multiply until misgivings and suspicion hang over everyone. Ultimately, the perpetrator turns out to be in many ways the most innocent.
