Synopsis
Jerry, a troubled young man with a checkered past is taken under the wing of a defense attorney, Tom, who sees something in Jerry that no one else sees. Tom needs to find him a job and help him get on the right track. But finding a job for Jerry is harder than it seems--Jerry, a loner, doesn't want to do anything. But after meeting Tom's beautiful daughter Susan, Jerry has a change of heart. A dog trainer at a local training school, Susan is currently working with a dog named Toby--an abandoned dog who takes an immediate liking to Jerry, who feels a bit abandoned himself. With Susan's guidance, Jerry learns about the world of dog training--with Toby as his first student. Little by little, Jerry comes out of his shell, learning about responsibility and hard work. At the same time, romance begins to bloom between Susan and Jerry. In the end it's about how love, loyalty, hard work and a dog named Toby can lead to the most fantastic events--even in the face of loss.
