Synopsis
A lesbian couple of fifteen years lives with the secret that one is an illegal alien. With no legal way to protect their relationship, the couple lives in constant fear. During an innocent visit to the Statue of Liberty, security stops Nicole and Amy and runs a routine check. The immediate results turn up nothing and the girls are free to visit Lady Liberty, then return home to Los Angeles; unaware that this icon of freedom, was about to strip them of their own.
