Synopsis
In a unnamed African country during a small civil war in the late '60s, Evita lives a rather idyllic life with her new husband Luis. The idyll is only married by some dead bodies that wash up on the beach, but since they are Africans, no one pays them much heed. Before taking his leave to go on campaign against the rebels, Luis asks his bride to promise she won't leave their hotel room until he gets back. Evita, however, refuses to comply and in her wanderings begins to discover the various atrocities that her countrymen have committed.
