Brief Synopsis
Senagalese poet Souli and his French lover Mona struggle to liberate their fishing village from the domination of Yann, a Frenchman who views Souli and his fellow villagers as his colonial subjects. The village depends on Yann for ice, until Mona invents an ice-making machine.
