Synopsis

Based on a true story of a young woman, Michelle Brown whose identity is stolen by a stranger who quickly purchases hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of services and merchandise in Brown's name, and then bizarrely tries, through cosmetic surgery, to actually become Michelle. When a warrant is issued for the imposter's arrest, the innocent Michelle is wrongly accused. With her life in a downward spiral, Michelle fights back and appeals to the U.S. Senate for more concise identity theft laws. Along the way she confronts her nemesis and not only becomes whole again, but discovers a strength and power she never knew she had.
