Synopsis
Follows Abby, a former skate punk who is twenty-five years old and already a cynic. She struggles to find the ever elusive middle ground between security and happiness--a job that won't leave her homeless but one that won't leave her feeling morally bankrupt. For Abby, skateboarding remains the link to her free spirited alternative youth, representing the freedom to ride and fall. Though cynical about the world she sees around her--the suits, the Establishment, nine- to-five, corporate bloat, faceless Starbucks-fueled automaton sellouts--Abby still clings to the nonconformist ideals she held as a rebellious young teenager and holds those ideals close to her heart despite her own slide into the very establishment she scorns.
