Synopsis

A writer named Elizabeth loses her husband in a car accident and is left behind, alone, with three children. Devastated, she resolves to join her lover in death and wanders out into the snowy deserts of Lapland where they met many years earlier. On her way, she stumbles across the frozen body of an old woman near an abandoned hamlet. Slowly, she begins to unearth the fragments of a haunting passion: the tale of an exceptional and radical love between Aron and Ina. Aron, who travels the world with a dark secret. Ina, enslaved since childhood under the spell of her egomaniacal father. Over three days, Elizabeth draws hope from the strength of Ina and Aron's love for each other and their determination to challenge their fate. She finds the courage to go back.
