Synopsis
Well-off Helsinki couple Katri and Janne are always on the look-out for a new thrill. At a party, Janne meets a man from a small travel agency who suggests a "poverty vacation." The couple have to give up their life for a month, hand over their keys and credit cards, and live in a run-down apartment in a bad part of town, supported only by welfare checks. Katri and Janne get to know their criminal and violent new neighbors with a mixture of curiosity and contempt. Suddenly, however, they discover the travel agent doesn't exist, their house has been sold and they've been cut off from everything they own.
