Synopsis

A tale of two siblings set in present-day Brooklyn. With his father in jail and his mother working long hours at a nursing home, Lenny, age 11, is burdened with the responsibility of looking after his younger brother, Joey, age 7. Lenny plays a practical joke on his little brother. When the joke goes too far, however, Joey runs away to Coney Island. Anxious, Lenny searches for his younger brother. As night falls and Joey does not return, Lenny fears the worst. He regrets his actions and becomes more and more desperate to find his little brother--alive and unharmed.
