Synopsis

Jana, a young woman living in Prague, and her fiancé, Standa, a soldier in the Czechoslovakian Army, are eager to begin sexual relations, but Standa is not permitted to have female visitors on the military post. Nevertheless, Jana leaves Prague and goes to the base. Standa fears that the officers in his unit will penalize him if he is found with Jana; in addition, they have no place with sufficient privacy to make love. Eventually they are aided by a medical officer who permits them to use a bed in the infirmary.
