Synopsis

Having usurped the throne of a Balkan principality, Pavlovitch plans to secure his position by arranging a marriage between his daughter Opal and Prince Ronneaus. Opal agrees obediently to the match, but then, while traveling in England, she begins a romance with Paul, the rightful ruler of her father's kingdom. Because of her engagement to the prince, however, as well as her desire to please her father, she finally leaves Paul, until revolutionaries assassinate Pavlovitch and restore Paul to the throne. Almost immediately after returning to his homeland, the new ruler marries Opal.
