Synopsis
An attractive, prosperous couple, Ric Jackson and Natalie Wilkins, enjoy the prime of their young lives together in Atlanta and head towards marriage. But Ric is caught cheating and Natalie shuns him. As they journey apart, Ric and Natalie are influenced by other men in Natalie's life, past and present, including her late father, whose past womanizing and alcoholism has scarred her; her big, muscular, former inmate brother Butch, who seeks revenge against Ric for allegedly abusing her; her affluent, popular new love interest Kirkland J. Ellis, III, who seeks her heart; and a short, slightly built, often ignored man named Mobe, who has a secret connection to Natalie, as well as a special physical attribute that seems to attract the opposite sex in droves. But each man turns out to be something different than what appeared on the surface, and Ric and Natalie try to figure out the truth about these men and themselves--sometimes the hard way.
